"Don't Worry, Baby" by The Beach Boys was the tune I was playing in my head on the day of my surgery, trying to calm my nerves down. Since then it's been on repeat, and a California vibe is exactly what I need now. My forces have been few since Tuesday, but I'm recovering really well, taking one day at the time. A while ago, I was asked as to why I never do a wide smile on the blog. Mostly this is because of my braces, but I think if you know me in person, I never hesitate to smile widely. Of course, I'm a 20 year old person with braces, but honestly, people are bound to find out sooner or later, and they don't worry me too much. Especially not here post surgery where I feel like a wombat anyway!
Due to the surgery, my smile is going to look different when the swellings go away. Right now, on day 4, I am able to smile again (chipmunk style, guys!), and it really feels great.
ALSO, JUST SO YOU KNOW! MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS CLOSE TO NOTHING AS IT'S RUNNING FROM MY PHONE. I'LL BE GETTING BACK TO ALL OF YOUR AMAZING MESSAGES AS SOON AS THE WIFI BECOMES MORE STABILE. YOUR SUPPORT MEANS SO MUCH TO ME!!
