I'm currently feeding this blog with (semi)old stuff. When bored, I look through folders and suddenly I stumble upon something where I think - Hey, this is not that bad! Bloggen kører lige nu på materiale, der er en liiiillle smule gammelt. Dette er naturligvis, fordi jeg p.t. ligner et hamster med en stor gul plet på kinden (læs=hævet med blåt mærke). Så er der jo indimellem tid til at kigge i glemte mapper og finde billeder, hvor man pludselig tænker: "Hey, det her er da okay!" - og vupti dupti - så gør det ikke noget, at man ligner fat-Monica bag skærmen, hvis man bare har gjort sit forarbejde!

WAVY MID-LENGHT HAIRSTYLE HOW TO

Here it goes! Since I got my hair short, requests have been coming in from you lovely guys on how I do my curly hairstyle. Let it be known, that I am not a perfectionist with my hair - I'm the girl who only a few weeks back, cut my hair with paper scissors in frustration over two cancelled hairdresser appointments. Two days later I trotted up at a salon in Brick Ln. with one side stylishly longer than the other and my broken dreams of taking a career jump into hairdressing. Defeat…

Lastly, before we get on with it I must warn you, that I am with my hair the same way I am with my sun tanning. The front is the only thing I see, therefor the only thing that counts. I really need to care more.

MY ROUTINE

1. Prep hair with heat protection spray. I use Wella's Thermal Image spray.

2. Brush through. Brush, brush, brush!

3. Start winging it with a hot styler. I never know what I'm doing, but what I did here, was take a small section of hair, close the hot styler around it, and turn the hot styler 360 degrees and pull through - this will create a ringlet styled curl. 

4. TIP: Some I do more perfect than others to create more diversity. Also, I mix it up in terms of whether the curls turn towards or away from my face, but a good way to do it is let every second curl turn towards the face, and every second turn away. The ones framing my face, I tend to turn away from my face.

5. Now mess it up with your fingers and add hairspray if you like!

I find that this hairstyle always looks better on me the day after - you can see what that looks like right here. I really like soft waves in shoulder length hair with a hint of bed-head to it.

Manolo and new shoes

Yay! Got the Manolo Blahnik esigne cans! They are so lovely (makes it even better that they are esigne by the shoe genius :) I was so happy when I got them, that I went an bought some shoes (not Manolos though - I wish!). I am now the happy owner of these starry ballerinas by Friis & co.

BE RIGHT BACK

I'm off for a quick trip to Denmark for something quite exciting (more on this soon!) and will be back in London on monday evening. Looking forward to getting up in the air with roasted peanuts and WONDERLAND magazine.

THE OLD TRENCH

 

VINTAGE TRENCH COAT / GIFTED DRESS / ZARA MULES / NOVA BAG

If you've been following the blog for more than, let's say 2 weeks, you'll by far know that this trench coat more or less is glued to me. Where one of the recent posts here was called The New Trench, this is indeed the old trench, as I got it in a charity shop long ago for only a couple of pounds or so. I remember the lady behind the desk gave me some funny looks after having seen me trying it on and it obviously being way too big for me and me still going ahead with the buy. It is safe to say that it has been one of my favourite coats, and I have never regretted it. Now having been back in Denmark for Easter, luck would have it that I would find an amazing yellow trench coat from the same 80's era in the drool-dripping oversize cut in yellow - completely tickled to have done another find, that I just can't wait to sport in town.

These are really old photos (sorry for reposting, but I don't think you want to see how I look now!) but I really like them. This "dress" is one of my favorite things to wear, just because it's so much fun.

Going out tonight? TOPSHOP makeup tutorials

I'm not (I'm not lying when I say that I look like a ginny pig), but that doesn't mean you can't look great (which I'm sure you already do). Here's a little inspiration taken from Topshop's podcasts on youtube. Enjoy!

Det sker på ingen måde, at jeg kommer ud i aften, da jeg uden at lyve kan sige, at jeg ligner et (en? Jeg har aldrig fundet ud af det) marsvin. Jeg prøvede at tage til det lokale loppemarked i morges trods hævelsen, men jeg skræmte både børn og gamle damer væk, eftersom at jeg havde tørklæde over munden, stor solhat, solbriller og var tildækket i helt mørkt tøj. Jeg var lidt creepy, må jeg indrømme. Kunne kun holde udenfor i sølle 20 minutter, så sofaen er igen min bedste ven.

Back from no-internet land! Yay - how glad I am!! I suddenly realize just how important internet is in 2010! Remember when I was a little girl, I could only go on the internet at my mother's work. Used as long as I could on the Barbie website - a treat I only had a few times. And now I'm not just depending on it - I'm obsessed with it! Anyway, wore this at birthday party last weekend :)

The press week is now over more or less and I'm now heading to Jutland for a family party here in the weekend. Yesterday I went to Tivoli with a friend of mine to see Turboweekend in Tivoli. Awesome evening! Btw. I should let you know that Stine and I didn't get to film this week because we were so busy, but as soon as she gets back from Oxford, we'll be working days and nights if necessary to get that vlog made!

White dresscode

Today is the day.

First of all the blog is now WWW.FRAMBOISEFASHION.COM . Woohoo!! I'm very excited and hope that there will be no problem with the new site.

Second of all.. I'm getting 6 teeth removed. Yup. That's right. 6. I have to get used to the "hobo" look, and I desperately wish that I won't look stupid. However, those doctors know what they're doing, and it's for the better I've been assured. And the teeth that are being removed will be back in the mouth and fortunately not that visible.

I'll be spending the next days away from the blog at home, eating enormous amounts of ice cream and so on. Wish me luck :)
