I've praised the white shirt ever so often, it's a classic, it's amazing, it's a true companion and I'll leave it at that for now. However, there's something that I'm not so keen on lately, and it's leaving me reckless to the point that I'm just scouting through pinterest like crazy when I can't sleep. It's my hair! I've had my hair long since forever, and don't get me wrong - I love long hair, I feel like it's really me. Still, I feel some need to rebel a bit, do something different for once - and then grow it out and pretend it never happened.

Pardon my blogger drouth for the last week or so. I've been so tied up and busy, that I haven't really felt the inspiration for a post. Recently I went through some of my old posts - I want to make posts like that again! Here I'm referring to a more artsy approach regarding the photos I take and make.

But let's get to business, shall we? Next Wednesday (1 week + 1 day from now) I'll be crossing country borders and going to LONDON! It's more than 12 years since I've been, and I've only heard that it's gotten even better. I'm so excited!! I'll be blogging from there, turning my blog into a little fashionable window to London.

However, I need your help, as you probably know more about Donlon than I do - which places shouldn't I miss out on?

BRAUN SENSOCARE EVENT @ NIMB HOTEL

Recently I went to an Braun event hosted by MSL at the Nimb Hotel in the center of Copenhagen. Here I and a selection of Scandinavian bloggers were introduced to the new intelligent SensoCare Hotstyler from Braun and got to test it out. 

Celebrity hair-stylist  Sascha Breuer told us about how to use the hotstyle for different hair-styles.

The sweet model was styled by Sascha and looked absolutely gorgeous with messy long hair.

The center of attention.

Before using it, you create a profile on the styler to ensure optimal heat-treatment of the hair and minimum damage.

This girl was curling her hair like a pro. She mastered the curling technique and styled my hair afterwards (see below).

I was really impressed with the hotstyler. It really felt good using it, and I was surprised how shiny it left the hair. I would definitely recommend it, if you are looking for a good hotstyler!

ORANGE LIPS

TOPSHOP "INFRARED" LIPSTICK (here) / MONKI DRESS

It's only rarely that I touch the subject of beauty here on the blog, because honestly, I don't have that much to share. Eyeliner, mascara and a dash of rouge and I'm on the go. My simple routine does however get upgraded once in a while with a colourful lipstick, and with the arrival of Spring, something bright and cheerful is in its place - orange it is! When I found this one from Topshop, I knew it had just the right amount of oompf I needed for an every-day make-up kick and I predict it'll be one of the best buys for my beauty bag this season.



Prabal Gurung, DKNY and Rag & Bone have all made it hard to resist wearing vibrant orange, so I say, let's give up the fight and grab our lipsticks, ladies! Harper's Bazaar did a little guide to find the right orange hue matching your skin tone right here. However, if in doubt, GO BRIGHT!

It is no secret that I love Frida. This image from W magazine just stuns me. I'll try off yellow/gold lipstick sooner or later - just like Frida has in this lovely image and Rodarte's lovely collections.

Elsker dette billede af Frida for W magazine. Nogle af jer har spurgt til, hvor jeg finder mine billeder. Svaret kan virke lidt irriterende, men det er the fashion spot, der er kilden til næsten alle mine inspirationsbilleder. Da jeg først fandt siden, kunne jeg selv heller ikke finde noget, men hvis man går ind under forums.thefashionspot.com, kan det være en guldgrube! Ellers finder jeg mange af mine billeder på forskellige tumblrs, næsten aldrig de samme. Her er det bare om at finde det man kan lide :)

Hello Wednesday!

Hello lovlies!

What a day! Been crossing Copenhagen on my bike with my great friend Teresa, we went from shoe-shop to shoe-shop! Left town with a gorgeous top instead though (pictures will come), the shoe-shopping must wait for my trip to Florence in less than two weeks! Yay!! Nothing like an Italian shoe I can assure you, and what better place to buy them than the hometown of Gucci and many others (just because a girl can't have, doesn't mean she can't dream).. About the mess in my room: we get a lot of papers at school, it isn't my fault... well... :)

Here's yesterday's outfit from when I went to see Les Miserables at the movies. A bit sceptical at first as I had already seen the musical, and it seems a very difficult task to take a musical onto the big screen, but it was amazing!

A cast consisting of Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman to mention my favorites, I knew, that even if it was bad it would be good. But it was good with extra good. I even teared up BIG TIME at the end (yup, I'm one of those!). So, bottom line - if you're wondering whether to go or not: GO!

ST. PANCRAS

What a week it has been! So many things have happened, and then all at once! Although some things are more of a mouthful than others, I do convince myself that I prefer things to be either full on or not at all. The in-betweens are somehow never just as satisfying, and if I'm passionate about something, I like to put all of my energy in to that. And for the rest of the time? Sleep, drink tea and hug people I love.

Recently I went for breakfast with lovely Shini near King's Cross, and I always take myself feeling like a tourist walking around there (although because of my studies being nearby, I've been there several times a week during semesters). There's just something so majestic about St. Pancras, and if you ever pass, treat yourself with a look inside at the amazing and historical interiors. It's outstanding!

I hope you've all had a good end to your week, and will have a fantastic start on the new one!

Twinkle lips

Saw this editorial in an old cosmo where the model had twinkle dark red lips.. Was so inspired that I had to try!! (This photo unfortunately doesn't show it that well).. When I got it on, i didn't want to take it of.. Hope you all had a great weekend! I went to the movies with my boyfriend to see "The lovely bones"... GOSH i was scared!! I'm a wimp when it comes to horror movies, I'm more of a Disney-girl to be frank..
