Framboise Fashion Expands! NEW STREETSTYLE BLOG!

Arrived in London safe and sound. Thank you for all your lovely comments towards my trip!

Wanted to make a quick post on something that I've been dying to tell you; I've started a street style website! I'm SO excited!! It's been up for a while, but since I'm quite new with Wordpress, I've been trying to figure it out. It's still not where I want it to be - it's missing a bloglovin page and the margin is not quite right yet, but have patience with my newly developed CSS skills. :) Minka (pictured above) is the first to be featured on the site. Finally got around to putting my money where my mouth was and got my hair chopped a whole 20cm! If you've been following me on instagram (@SrhMikaela), you'll already know I attempted cutting it on my own, purely because of boredom actually. That, and the fact that I've had two hairdresser appointments cancelled, but today the last few inches came off and it feels amazing! I'm off tomorrow with some lovely girls to Manchester and can't wait to jump around with weightless hair!

ABOVE THE RUSH

It's starting to look like spring here, meaning that those big ice blocks on the street are finally melting away. Spring has the talent of inspiring you to seek new beginnings or start anew, and in 8 days I'll be finding my self in a completely new way of life in London.

For the curious, I can tell that I'll be moving in with this lovely lady and a whole bunch of other lovely people, and I'm oh so excited. So excited, that I managed a minor shopping frenzy in IKEA today. Ironing board, a rice lamp, a chair that rolls (and spins!) were among things that came home with me, not to forget the fruity ice-cube form.

Hiya lovies.

Having a short break from my studying today and it shouldn't be a secret, that I love the hair at Proenza Shouler's SS11 show. So - thought I'd give it a try. I don't quiiiite know exactly how I managed to do this, however I do know that it takes a lot of saltwater spray!

Kastede mig ud i et forsøg på at lave Proenza Shouler SS11 hår-looket. Er ikke heeelt sikker på hvordan jeg opnåede det ovenstående resultat, men én ting er sikkert: en masse saltvandsspray!

INTERNET I'VE MISSED YOU!

HELLO SWEET INTERNET! Boy have I missed you! Sorry all for checking out of the blogging life for a week - here's the story: I LOST MY INTERNET... I've done everything to get in touch with internet, but luck was not bestowed upon me and before I knew it, I was leaving with my parents for Easter holiday to a small island in Denmark where I am unsure if they even have internet cabels. Found a connection at the library where I am sitting now :).

I have so many posts lined up for all of you, but I cannot get my own photos on to this library computer, so I'll have to wait till i get home to Copenhagen which will be on Sunday. So - no posts for a while, but then they'll come lining up on your computer screen - promise! :)

So, since I can't show you all of my (megadyllical awesome) photos, I'm posting these cute photos from fashiongonerogue. Hope you enjoy!

SILENT DAYS

I'm sorry for being so silent here on the blog lately. I've been retreating for a couple of days in Germany, visiting my lovely grandmother. Being home again means that everything continues to go in to boxes. London is just 11 days away.

Wide legged pants - hot or hmm?

Dear lovies, you've probably heard - it's those wide legged pants again. And not just those subtle ones - but the really wide legged pants! Whowhatwear.com showed some examples of celebrities wearing these really wide legged pants, and I must say I made som "Ughs". However, it did remind me of a pair of really wide legged pants, I saw in UK Elle (picture above), that I'm absolutely craving to own. These silk theyskens' theory pants are perfection in every way. Especially combined with the turtleneck and the amazing asian model. So, as to buying these silky beauties - that would be a no! My budget tells me that these stings of perfection is waay out in the future for me. If any of you buy them - please tell me, and let me live my happiness through you.

Sorry for this weak moment - but I love these pants.

Kæreste, dejligste læsere. Det er efterhåndet kommet til min erkendelse, at bukser med vidde åbenbart hitter. Jeg får automatisk flashback, til lille frøken mig i 3. klasse med de største trompetbukser med en masse blomster på. Jeg følte mig fantastisk fin i mine vidde bukser og min bøllehat, men siden dengang har jeg holdt mig langt væk fra begge. Tanken om at tage kæmpe store trompetbukser på igen er ude af spørgsmålet! Medmindre... det er disse helt overkodylt fantastiske bukser fra theyskens' theory. Jeg fandt dem i UK Elle (se ovenfor), og de har siden da vandret rundt i mine drømme. Jeg hopper ikke i vidde bukser medmindre det er dem her (jeg kommer nok til at modbevise mit eget udsagn før eller siden, but anyways).

Ooh yeah. It was bound to happen! The denim on denim look, where everyone automatically thinks of the epic Britney & Justin denim combo. It's a total win-win, especially if you're two; quadruple denim! It's been two lovely weekend days here in London, however I woke up a bit sick this morning and after having a lovely time at Brick Lane scouting for bikes with lovely Isabella, I'm unfortunately completely knocked out. The droopy messy hair pictured above was not planned, but let's all just pretend shall we. I'm now sitting at home, big jumper, big scarf and my UGG slippers (heaven on my feet!) and mending my current poor health.

Loved the beautiful weather yesterday, except for the fact that it was really windy. Might not be obvious on the above photos, but it was definitely windy when I was riding home on my bike! True story. Anyway, this is what I wore at the lovely Easter Lunch Star PR held yesterday.

I did my nails Wednesday evening. It's sort of a thing I do to stress off. I always do it at night before I go to bed, so occasionally it happens that I wake up with the nail polish completely ruined with duvet marks all over. After this post I'll be removing this design from my nails and trying something else. :)

Rigtig skønt vejr i går bortset fra blæsten! Det er ikke så tydeligt på disse billeder, men det var helt sikkert til at mærke, da jeg cyklede hjem (på en cykel, der er frosset fast i femte gear).

Her er mit outfit fra gårsdagens påskefrokost hos Star PR, der bare havde lavet det hele super fint! God mad og skønt selskab.

Ordnede neglene onsdag aften. Det er lidt sådan en ting, jeg gør for at stresse af. Gør det i hvert fald altid, når jeg kommer hjem fra arbejde om aftenen, så det hænder at gårsdagens neglefifleri ender på dynen. :)

Easter Lunch at Star PR

I had a lovely day at Star PR, who invited me and other cool Danish bloggers for Easter lunch. We enjoyed ourselves over traditional Danish food and had a look at Deichmann's latest collaboration with Halle Berry. I will soon be getting a pair of them, so I'll make sure to keep you posted on the matter!

Havde en skøn dag med påskefrokost hos Star PR, hvor der var skønt gensyn og nye møder med masser af skønne danske bloggere. Vi hyggede os med smørbrød og cupcakes og tog et kig på Deichmanns seneste samarbejde med Halle Berry. Inden længe kan jeg vise jer, hvordan det ser ud. :-)
