In 24 hours I'm in Greece. Yes, yes, yes!

I've been playing "Sadie the Cleaning Lady" by Johnny Farnham all day long on the ukulele. I'm starting to get a hang of it, however I'll probably be an expert after summer (we'll see about that). Emilie told me that an ukulele must have a name - she got her's today and its name is Bob. Any ideas for mine? I am simply clueless on this matter.

Om et døgn er jeg på Santorini. Øj, hvor jeg glæder mig! Min nye ukulele er travlt beskæftiget og får ikke et øjeblik for sig selv. I øjeblikket er det "Sadie the Cleaning Lady", der spilles om og om igen. Har hørt fra selveste Emilie, at en ukulele skal have et navn. Hendes hedder Bob. Har I et forslag, for jeg er sådan set blank?

Here's my outfit from yesterday, when Stine and I went to the movies and watched the premiere of The Amazing Spiderman (really recommendable, btw). Of course we had to show our true devotion to Spiderman, so a colour match was in the cards. I just got these three coloured suede and patent leather shoes from Asos and I am absolutely crazy about them. It's as if the designer was thinking of my deepest wish for a shoe and made it! They've got the perfect amount of play school in them (an Aussie children's tv-program I grew up with).

You'll see a lot more to these guys, that's for sure! Hope everyone's enjoying the lovely weather, that has finally chosen to visit us folks in Copenhagen too. Ooh! Also! Stine and I took the Spiderman-theme to the next level and created Spiderman-nails! A little bit of humor keeps you happy. :)

A quick follow-up to my post yesterday, now bringing you a full outfit post. Yet again, the Birkenstocks are out and still no regrets. If Birkenstocks made beds, I would definitely buy one. Or maybe I wouldn't, on second thought..
So much love to the culottes. They're perfect for this weather, and my knees are always the first to go red in the sun anyway.

So ready for the weekend here, which I'll be spending with two of my favourite people in this world. My mum and dad! They just arrived today, staying for four days, and it's so amazing being able to share my London with them.

SPIDERY NAILS

Just a quick update from here!

Just came back from watching The Amazing Spiderman together with (the amazing) Stine. And woah, that was some good stuff on that screen!! I can really recommend it, and Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are awesome.

Stine and my humor lead us to take it the whole way as Spiderman-lovers and match our nails. Fashion is only fun if you can have, well, a little bit of fun ;)

Ukulele

Merely a self portrait I took. Yesterday I got an ukulele - I got it from my parents who gave it to me for my graduation present. I already play the piano and guitar, but the ukulele is amazing for traveling which I will soon be doing.

AU CAFE

One of the things I enjoy the most here in London, is going to some of the many lovely cafés the city has to offer. When you have good friends like Toni, it doesn't seem hard to make a morning pass with the help from two french toasts in Soho and some sunshine.

I'm going to be spending most of my summer here in London, but have in June managed to tick three more English towns off the map, Brighton (see the photo diary here), Seasalter and Cornwall. All helping me piece together what England is and I've come across some incredibly lovely people on my way. This Sunday, I was running towards Bodmin Parkway station in order to reach the 1 o'clock train towards London Paddington. Don't hold your breath, I missed it.. After spending an hour in the sunshine on a little station in Cornwall surrounded by (beautiful) nature, I jumped on the next train to find one seat free despite having no reservation. The girl sitting next to it apologized for her stuff taking up so much space, she was on her way to spend a month in Sardinia whereafter she would spend two weeks driving across Italy with her boyfriend. We instantly clicked and she soon knew about my passions and heartaches and vice versa.

I just love how summer makes our paths cross in these unconventional ways; she was leaving England whilst I was exploring it. My four and something hours in the train was suddenly long at all. To mess up the timeline of this story - sorry guys - on my way to Cornwall, I met this lovely American historian, who gave me the most amazing smoothie recipe. Bonus! Now see, if I had not talked to either of them, I'd be a friend and a crazy good smoothie recipe poorer. It's always worth saying hi!

I am so incredibly crazy with these sunglasses. I bought them when I was in London in April at Spitalfields market. Wish I could walk around on that market every day.

SATURDAY AT COLUMBIA RD.

Spent this Saturday with the always lovely Katharina at Columbia Rd. The temperature had passed the 25 degrees, so it was the perfect summer's day. This space hosts the weekly flower market every Sunday, where I also went yesterday and bought beautiful peonies. Unfortunately I was so unlucky to get my iPhone stolen, and my day today has been used for damage control and running to the police station.. My instagram will be laying low for a while (unless the thieve decides to have some fun, which frankly would be quite interesting).

Wow, just found these photos at Wildfox and my oh my - aren't they just the best? What's even better is, that beautiful Tiernan Cowling's face is adorned with a great smile! I think she looks lovely. I'm especially crazy about the one with Superman! It's pure geniousness! (and yeees, I know it's not a word)...

I've started of the summer holiday by taking a trip down to Germany to my grandmother. She's such a star! In about a week I'll be going Prague and from there down to Italy. Blogging will become a little bit more difficult, not to say a lot! I'll try the best that I can, but there probably won't be any look posts for a while - I hope you'll hang around the blog anyway!

I hope the sun is shining where you are, and that you're having a fantastic summer! (And for the Aussies - having a great autumn) ;)
