For the love of Lilac

Shirt: Gina Tricot
Shorts: Topshop
Necklace: H&M
Shoes: Liliana at NastyGal

Got these NastyGal shoes not too long ago. I just found them so funny, that I couldn't help myself. However, I must sadly say that the quality isn't fabulous. I'm not sure if you can see it on the last photo, but the lip print fabric has some air bubbles. But fine for the price though - they definitely won't catch dust. ;-)

Lots of love,

Fashion bzr

Images taken by me. All usage of these images has to be linked directly back to this site.

Here are the pictures from the Fashion bazar as promised! The dress and the skirt you see are from the brand Cave Cane by the designer Veronica. Had a good talk with her, she is a wonderful person. Met two sweet girls from China with lovely outfits ;)
Hope you're all doing great!

Lots of love,

VICTORIA PARK

VINTAGE UNITED COLORS OF BENETTON BLAZER / ZARA SLIP TOP / ZARA BOYFRIEND JEANS / STEVE MADDEN PLIMSOLLS / DANIEL WELLINGTON WATCH

If you're in Europe at the moment - congratulations, you can enjoy a heatwave! This of course means unlimited amounts of ice cream (without counting), cold drinks and BBQ's are all obligatory, plus let's not forget the money we're saving for not having to escape bad weather. I do, however, like a bit of a daily pour, just to water the plants on the terrace. Ten minutes tops of course, and clear skies after that please!

I went to lovely Victoria Park here the other day with my darling friend Ramon. Weather was beautiful and the water was still. If you're in for a bit of green and a lovely chilled atmosphere, this is a fantastic place to relax and spend an afternoon.

Skirt: own design

For those of you who follow my twitter, will know that I bought a huuuuuuge (HUGE!) amount of tangy yellow fabric. I finally put it to good use and started out making a skirt. I rarely ever wear this type of skirts, but I'm not one to limit myself. I predict that I'll make some sort of fancy dress out of this fabric as well.

I'm considering putting these skirts in to production as I have so much fabric. :)

BTW!! I finally decided to catch up on the world and create a facebook page for Framboise Fashion!! (Later bloomer, I know).

Hope you had a lovely day!

Wicked Waacking - Werkaholics

I've just come back from the Fashion Bazar at First Hotel with an experience I hadn't expected to get home. There was a small bazar, photographers/designers, fashion shows; but after the fashion show with the models as we know them a group of six people formed a circle. Unable to tell what was going to happen, the DJ suddenly put another record on, and these people started dancing - amazingly! These unique people call themselves Werkaholics (inspired by waacking and voguing) lead by a girl with a vibrant personality called Eva Schou. They're dance style is so unique that you can't put a label on it except: Werkaholics. I'm a fan for sure! Saying that I'm amazed or inspired would only be a vague expression to how I really feel about this fantastic show! It was FANTASTIC - and I'm not exaggerating it really really was! And by the way they were all fashionable I must say. Check out their facebook page, and see if they can bring as big a smile on your faces as on mine!

I will post more images from tonight, but this couldn't wait till tomorrow!

Goody goody for me

wearing Pieces vest as a top back to front, monki skirt, asos cuff.

I have only three days left to study three years of material for the subject danish. Thank goodness I paid attention. Still, I've got a lot of catching up to do, and after some stressful days of studying physics, I do not ever have to open a physics book again. Goody good for me.
Went to see Teitur play in Tivoli yesterday - it was amazing! Great fun, and the pause from the studies was earned, I believe. Oh by the way!! I'm going to Santorini for summer! Anyone have some experience about the area?

Lots of love,

Mikaela

BORROWED PLEASURES

VINTAGE JACKET
VINTAGE SHIRT
GINA TRICOT JEANS
DR MARTENS SHOES
YSL LIPSTICK

To my amazing friend Carlota, who's been in Madrid for the weekend, I have a confession. I took your Dr. Martens for a spin...
I'm genuinly sorry, but they were just sitting there, practically begging for it! ...

My minor criminal activity has however resulted in a sudden urge, desire, passion, need (easy there tiger!) to get myself a pair. They're so wide, that you can actually wiggle your toes (which btw has scientifically been proven to make you a happier person). Looks like I'll be eating 15 pence noodles for dinner the next month, if this is to go through! (If you follow my instagram @SrhMikaela, you'll know, that that's not a possibility).

Hope you had a great weekend.
LOTS OF LOVE

trendWATCH

Watches from monol
Bracelet by TokyoJane

Stine and I came across these watches by monol the other day and we simply couldn't help ourselves. They come in many different colo Stine rs and went for the purple one as where I jumped for the green one. I really envy Stine's natural tan! ;)

We were standing really awkwardly on the street to take this shot, as a waiter at a restaurant we were just outside of comes and asks us what we're up to. "Uhm... Well, you see....". We left quite quickly, no eye contact. :)

BIKE STYLE

photos by The Styleograph

VINTAGE MEN'S SHIRT (similar here) / WAREHOUSE SHORTS / OTHER STORIES SHOES / JW ANDERSON X NIKON1 BAG / FOSSIL WATCH / ASOS SUNNIESMELON BIKE HELMET (similar here)

This week has been so intense and still is, so excuse me for being distant and not being the first person to push on the post-button, and this post is now up for good! Earlier last week, I caught up with my friend Christian better known as The Styleograph, who was in London for the Graduate Fashion Week. We talked about work, cameras, blogging and how much all of this had changed since we first met back in 2011.

A little over a month ago I got a bike, something I've wanted for ages but been too scared! Let's just ignore the fact that everyone drives on the left side on the road, I was mostly terrified by the poor facilities for cyclists in London. You rarely see biking paths and drivers not to mention the red buses seem to not care about cyclists and often drive inconsiderately.

I've got my helmet and my newly gained left-side-of-the-road-skills, and I'm fearlessly ready for the roads! Baby steps though. Still struggling with the whole locking-the-bike thing. The last photo shows me reasoning with it - I had a small audience wondering what on earth I was up to, and it took me at least 15 minutes and a whole lot of Danish mumble-jumble to figure it out. At least the bike was there when I came back, phew!

MUCH LOVE

Don't call it Friendship - It's more than that

wearing: monki top, zara pants, h&m necklace, graceland shoes.

Yes my dear beloved readers, I have found a new friend. These Graceland wooden shoes have by great luck become mine :) This is the outfit I'm thinking of wearing tomorrow at fashion bzr at Copenhagen First Hotel. What do you think?
