Thanks to everyone for the lovely birthday wishes on my last post!! You put a big smile on my face and it warms my heart to have you as my followers!
It didn't seem as a natural choice of colours, putting mint and a strong lavender together and even adding a bit of neon details, yet I couldn't help myself being intrigued by this awkward mix. A few ladylike details in terms of a tulip skirt and an angora / wool mix sweater inherited from my dear grandmother and the look was set.

Post Birthday
A photo from a failed photoshoot I would have posted today. The lighting was simply too poor outside to get anything good from it, but I basically wanted to share the idea I had with you. I've been wanting a red beanie for ages, and I got it yesterday from my dear friend Cecilie, whose mother had made it especially for me! Filled with pride, I'll be wandering around town with this colourful thing ! :)

Who's ready for the weekend? I'm so excited, it's been such a full-on week (with my birthday and everything, yay!), and this weekend is not going to be less eventful. Thank you so much for all of your lovely birthday wishes on my birthday post and instagram - it warms to know you're all following along! I'll be going to the Rolls-Royce exhibition this weekend at the Saatchi Gallery and can't wait, as I've heard so many exciting things, and might just do a little gallery-crawl. All in all a lovely weekend ahead, and I hope yours will be no less than amazing!

It's my Birthday!!
Whoopee and hooray!! Today it's the 12th of November and it also happens to be my birthday! If virtual cakes where possible (and would actually taste good) I would definitely share a piece with all of you. Have a lovely saturday everyone!! :)

BIRTHDAY GIRL
1. 2. 3. BIRTHDAY!!!
Today, my dear friends, I'm turning 21! I've already had a pre-celebration with my family and the most amazing guy in the world during my speedy visit to Denmark this weekend.
How will I spend the day? As always, cake is the main ingredient, but I'll have to mix it with a whole lot of schoolwork, due to my guilty pleasure weekend of pure relaxation (a feeling I haven't touched for months).
Hope all my fellow Scorpios out there are having an amazing birthday month and the rest of you are benefiting from the birthday cakes hopefully being shared with you!

Technique, design and a whole lot more
Is exactly what newly graduated Michelle Wadskjær from the Margrethe School can offer. Her sense for modern design paired with good skills is what truly completes her garments, latest in her graduation collection Skeleton Pleats, where she combines a special pleat technique to redefine the body and bring focus to what lies beneath the clothes, but in a very dressed, non-vulgar though incredibly sensual way. These are points that in my opinion makes her very worthy of the Benedikte (the Danish Queen's sister) award and hopefully we will see a lot more to this amazing talent.
With the special pleat technique, Michelle achieved to bring focus to the human bone structure, for instance this dress has the detail on the back giving focus to the spine.

FEELING AUTUMN

As much as colder weather means a sniffling nose and a much higher gas-bill, it also means something way better: coat-season! Although, let's be real, Autumn has arrived a bit late this year, clearly to tease the fact that I've gone coat crazy! I just recently got my hands on this nude pink beaut from Wallis, and I've been crazy about since the moment it arrived in the door at home in lovely London. The suspense was high when I was browsing through their coats as the choice was between this one and a Nude Boyfriend Coat - too much temptation, I tell you!
I managed to bring it along to Germany this weekend to wear for my grandmothers' birthday party, and not to brag, but I had compliments from ages going down to 5 and up to 83 - now that's a pretty good turnaround, right? I felt so classy and elegant and there's nothing like when a garment just instantly gives you that amazing feeling that you're sorted. Next worry is what you're wearing underneath, but a coat (a longer one) will buy you some more time while you sort that out!

Sorry for being distant this past while! Truth is, I did a spontaneous move and rushed off for a quick trip to Denmark. It's nice quickly touching base - it being a calm break completely unaffected by my rather eventful, time consuming studies.

IN FOR A SPIN
Okay, so earlier this week I could cross off a first. If you'd asked me a couple of weeks before, I wouldn't have imagined, that I'd be driving around in a Rolls-Royce this week. Or let's go with ever? But oh my, here comes a confession. A guilty pleasure: I love cars. I love driving them, looking at them, sitting in them, packing them to the maximum and you get the picture! So imagine me running around the RR HQ's all day - like a kid in a candy shop!
Rolls-Royce had invited me and some other lovely UK bloggers to go inside the Rolls-Royce factory and HQ and transported us from London to the top secret location [read: Goodwood], where we spent the day hearing about RR and the new Inside Rolls-Royce exhibition to be held at the Saatchi Gallery in London next week from the 13th-16th of November. I'm so intrigued about the exhibit, as it seems as if it's going to be absolutely awesome, from what they've told me. It'll have 9 rooms of interactive activities, making you a part of the artwork and give an insight in what the RR's do every day creating their bespoke cars.
