BACKSTAGE @ BARBARA I GONGINI

TONI&GUY invited me backstage to the Barbara I Gongini show last week during the fashion week in Copenhagen to see the extravagant hair styles created by lead stylist Joekim Nielsen and his team. To a show with nearly all-black garments, the hair really stood out and made a strong impression. Using both XL-hair-doughnuts and small black plastic hair bands, there was a strong contrast between volumous almost baroque shapes and pin-straight head hugging long bangs.
