BACK BY THE BRICKS

Took a trip to Brick Lane yesterday with my lovely roommate (for a little while yet) Line. Must say, that with a steady 26 celsius, summer is gracefully still hanging over London. Although I'm a big fan of the autumn wardrobe, I have absolutely no problem with putting it off. No problem at all.

So here's a minor photo spam that has been long in the making. This is from the third day of CPHFW where Stine and I found an empty laundromat and simply started goofing around taking photos outside, inside and on top of the washing machines and dryers like crazy people (of course we're not). It was so much fun! I recommend everyone try fit in a dryer. It was like hiding in a cupboard or a box as a kid. Gotta love that!

Here's my outfit from yesterday when I went out with Stine and Katarina. Sorry to post it so late - many of you are probably already asleep or getting ready for the most recented weekday: Monday. I've been out driving with my parents today and went to visit my brother. I just got home - and just to warn you, there are a lot of frogs on the roads tonight. Haha. Spotted one mouse as well.



Her er dagens fra i går, hvor jeg var ude med Stine og Katarina. Undskyld, at det kommer så sent op, men jeg har været på besøg hos min bror lige til nu. Lige for at dele en sjov registrering, så er der utroligt mange frøer på vejene. Det har været det rene slalom hele vejen hjem. :)

A quick post with one of my outfits from my weekend trip to Copenhagen to stock up on some family hugs and kisses, and have safely returned back to my base in London (now with functioning wi-fi!!!!).  Current mood state? Happy! Very happy indeed. Not that the presence of wi-fi holds my happiness or anything, but it certainly equals for a pretty good mood boost! I'm back to all my bad habits: funny YouTube clips, Pinteresting (if it wasn't a word before, it is now) and falling a sleep to Netflix. I'm frankly scared by the amount of e-mails I yet haven't replied to, and I might just pull an all-nighter tonight with popcorn and iced coffees to catch up!

First days of September

Today it was beautiful Miss Cake's 30th birthday and CAKE Copenhagen's 1 year birthday!! No celebration without baloons and cakes!

Miss Cake had made the most delicious cupcakes with blackberry and strawberry frosting. Would have loved to have shown you the whole cake, but I wanted to make sure it tasted as good as it looked. It did.

So, I had a lovely day today meeting up with Stine and Katarina to celebrate CAKE Copenhagen's 1 year birthday + Camilla (Miss Cake)'s 30th birthday. It was so much fun!! Last post someone asked where I know all these fashionable girls from - the answer is, that I met them during the Copenhagen Fashion Week. So happy I did!

I'm sorry that I haven't posted look posts lately - I'm so busy. We currently have a gym project, so I have to run and do exercise often. Tonight dance is starting up again, and we'll be preparing ourselves for the World Championship in Riesa in November.

My new Crush

Thanks to all for the lovely questions in the last post! I'll still be checking up on the post, so don't stop asking here if you wonder about something related to me or the blog! I can't wait to answer your questions. My new crush is this beautiful House of Holland knit! I gazed when I saw it and I am oh so in love. You've heard me talk about nothing but the store CAKE Copenhagen, but it is literally amazing! I love the atmosphere and lovely miss Cake let Cecilie and me shoot some photos in the store. The store is turning 1 year tomorrow and noone less than miss Cake herself is turning 30! This will be celebrated from 10-16 tomorrow with cupcakes (see them in this post) in the store at Studiestræde 24 in Copenhagen. Hope to see you there!



Tusind tak for alle jeres spørgsmål til mig og bloggen i det sidste indlæg - jeg glæder mig meget til at svare på dem! Hvis der stadig er nogen, der brænder inde med noget så tøv ikke med at spørge her - jeg skal nok tjekke op på indlægget, indtil jeg får lavet svarindlægget. Mit hjerte banker usigeligt for denne fine House of Holland strik, som kan købes i CAKE Copenhagen på Studiestræde 24. Jeg synes den er så, så fin, og det skulle ikke gøre noget, hvis den fik lov til at bo hos mig. Skønne Miss Cake lod mig få taget nogle billeder i den flotte butik, som fejrer 1-års fødselsdag i morgen samt Miss Cakes 30-års fødselsdag fra 10-16! Jeg håber at se jer der! :)

Oh how I love this shirt. Completely full of different coloured boxes almost resembling little unopened gifts. Speaking of gifts I just received a package from my dear grandmother in Australia with a frankie magazine. I can't wait till the timezones align so I can call her, and tell her how happy I am for this.  I really can't wait to go back to Australia, see my family again and enjoy the lovely culture of this amazing country.

By the way, just to let you know, if you're looking for black pants I cannot recommend these. They curl up in a really unnatural and uncharming way and the fit was terrible as soon as I got home from the store. I think it might be because Cheap Monday (who do make a lot of cool stuff) sell unisex jeans. Unisex makes absolutely no sense to me when it comes to trousers, as girls and boys require quite different fittings! Just my opinion.

Today I went with lovely Ray to the flower market. It was just as I left it, dynamic and beautiful. I came home with five beautiful sunflowers, perfect for a home-cheerup, now that days are getting shorter. They were my favorite flower when I was little. I would go all googly eyed, just looking at how they would outgrow me reaching towards new hights.
Sorry about the funky hair, but let's embrace flyaways, shall we!
