Sorry for my little personal outburst the other day. Sometimes things just reach to a point where you have to express it. Thanks for all the kind words, you are truly the best!

Next point of the day, I need your help! Most of you are as me probably quite addicted to music, and I'm desperately searching for this great song I heard in SEPHORA in Illum yesterday. It had an 80's sound to it and the only words I could decrypt (I don't think this word is correct here, but oh well!) was "Can't stop myself from loving her". It was quite an up beat song. If you don't know it, no problem, but I might just be in luck!

When I find the song, I will of course post it, so you can see how truly awesome it is. ;)

I had an amazing last day in Copenhagen this Monday. I had a whole heap planned, minute by minute almost, and nothing turned out after my tight schedule. Instead, I coincidentially got to see the royal life guards walking through town, went to an exhibition and then my path led me to the Botanical Gardens. It was as if the whole day was just there for me to experience - no effort from my side needed.

Yesterday I had 6 cinnamon buns (mum's home baked). I ate 4 on the trip, which is what I call self discipline without comparison. The last two just went this instant.

Today my journey goes back to London. Gosh, it's strange, that I'll be back today. I have absolutely loved my stay here in Denmark with the occasional trip to Germany to visit family and last week in Barcelona. However, I haven't reached doing half of what I have planned or see everyone on my list, which naturally leaves me a bit sad having to leave without. I'm excited about London though, it's time to get back to business and get my hands dirty with some new projects plus I'm excited to see my roommates and friends there. I love London and I love Copenhagen - seems, I can't be one place without missing something from the other place. That's just the conditions for now.

DARREN, WHO?

Happy Wednesday, guys!

Today I have something to share with you guys, that I am extremely passionate about! About a week ago, I was at one of my favourite cafés to get some work done, and noticed that one of the guys working there, was wearing a beautiful twirly copper bracelet. Ever so curious to get one myself, I had to ask him, where he had bought this unique piece of jewellery. He told me, that a homeless guy named Darren had made it to him for his spare change. I completely lid up, as I'd come across the same guy who had made me some copper flowers for my spare change on my many trips to the Columbia Rd. flower market, which I had started to collect whenever our paths would cross. That he also made such beautiful bracelets, was just incredible!

Today, as I was sitting at the same café, Darren came by. I had to go chat to him, and explained how I was wondering if he would make me a bracelet too, and to my luck this kind kind man was more than happy to, and as he did, he told me his story. How he was from South Africa where he was a safari guide in a hot air balloon. How he came to England and married a beautiful girl and had his heart broken. How it had all just fallen to pieces from there.

While he was making me this bracelet as we were chatting, he told me how he had never felt comfortable begging. He was homeless, not helpless, in his own words. Darren is such an amazing, kind and truly lovely man with such an amazing aura around him and the heart in the right place. All this man needs is a hand, and he'll be doing amazing things.

This was the first bracelet he had done with a glass piece in it. I think his work is beautiful, unique and truly outstanding. Everything he does is handmade and comes with a story. I personally think these should be available for everyone to buy, and I wanted to hear your opinions!
What do you think? If these (all unique pieces) would be available to buy online, would you guys be keen?

I haven't really been up to much these past days. Hopefully things will speed up a little bit next week. However, today was so lovely here at home with the weather - perfect light for shooting. After I sat on the boat, I realised it had just been painted. Yup! Coral red hands and shorts...

I was thinking: a lot of you have been mailing me questions and written questions in the comments - would you like me to do a Q&A post sometime??



De seneste dage har været noget stilstående herhjemme - dog ikke foruden jordbærkoldskål og hjemmelavet pizza -mums! Forhåbentligt kommer jeg ud af hi i næste uge. Omend så var det super flot vejr i dag med det helt rette lys til at tage billeder i. Efter det øverste billede måtte jeg dog til min ærgrelse erkende, at båden var blevet nymalet. Jeps! Koralrøde hænder og shorts...

So, good news everyone!! I did some research on the error my camera had, and came to this forum where a guy said he'd just given his camera a good smack and it worked again. So after some tough love on my camera, it started working!! Turned out my shutter had been stuck.

Here's my outfit from today with some colour blocking included. As you've probably seen in my last post, I'm quite hooked on the combination of cobalt blue paired with red lipstick (this one is Oriflame's "True Coral"). The fluro green nails were just a funky detail to shake it up a bit.

UNEXPECTED BLUES

Okay guys, so…
There's still that wi-fi problem at home. I wanted this post up earlier today, just in case you guys felt like popping by on your hopefully already lovely Sunday, but destiny (read: my broadband provider) wanted it differently. So here I am. Sitting at a chicken shop in East London with my laptop, writing these words quickly.

But let's briefly be relevant here! Was so in love with the jumper above when I found it on Asos, and when it came it was.. blue.. I get quite impulsive if I find something I really like online, and blindly believe, that the colour on the screen will be exactly the same to the real life thing. I was certain it would be white! Back onto Asos and to my surprise it did say blue. And kind of looked blue.. Kind of..
Chose to embrace the blue hue because I'm so keen on the lace detail, and somehow I always find myself lacking tops.
