Naty

source: noirfacade

Sorry for the lack of look posting - I'm still in the summerhouse, working on my dress. There is no connection whatsoever between my camera and the computer here, so the looks will have to wait till next week (where it is also Copenhagen fashion week so stay close!!).

I met beautiful Shahili from the MaxMara group outside the Henrik Vibskov show. I adore everything about her outfit and her smile perfects it! :)

Mødte skønne Shahili fra MaxMara uden for Henrik Vibskov showet. Er helt vild med outfittet og det skønne smil gør det kun bedre. :)

Stine Goya SS 12

All photos by me. All rights reserved.

Thursday afternoon Stine Goya held a fantastic show at the Copenhagen town hall. The collection was filled with grafic prints, colours and metallic fabrics. I wish I could tell you my favorite garment, but I simply haven't decided yet! Stine Goya's good friend, Sophie Bille Brahe, stood for the amazing jewelry making the collection inspired by balloon-parades in the early 1900s more dreamy and magical. And last but not least: am I the only one suddenly wanting Stine Goya hair?

Mikaela

WEDNESDAY CONSTRUCTING

ZARA DRESS / ASOS BOOTS (similar here) / GRAFEA BAG / FOSSIL BRACELET / WEAREARROW RING / MAC VELVET TEDDY LIPSTICK

What a Wednesday it has been! After a 13 hour long work shift yesterday, I naively thought I'd be spending my day in bed watching Netflix. Nope dude, 'cause guess who's wi-fi decided to go on holiday? You just won a million if you guessed me (*terms and conditions apply). Woke up at 5am, went on my bike and headed of to start a café-crawl throughout London's East End. Kept in company by my lovely friend Isabella in the middle of the day, rescuing me from falling a sleep over my Wednesday to-do-list. We even managed to drop by for a bit of spontaneous shopping in MAC.

HOPE YOU HAD AN AMAZING WEEK SO FAR

STRIPES

ZARA SHIRT
OYSHO SHORTS
VINTAGE CLUTCH
REEBOK SHOES
BEADHOUSE JEWELLERY

A little insight on me and my fellow Danes. Let's admit it. We love stripes. We loooove them!
My reason for bringing this up, is based on a little observation I did, in the first days of my arrival in Copenhagen. After being away from Denmark for some months, I decided to take a quick stroll down the main shopping street in Copenhagen wearing this stripey cotton Zara shirt. Besides it being waaay too hot to wear for the most awesome weather DK's had for years, I noticed that everyone (almost everyone...) was wearing stripes. You know, how when you notice something, you can't unnotice it? Yep, my head instantly started counting, until I just gave up. They were everywhere, including my outfit of course.

I don't know why we Danes have such a love towards stripes. Maybe because we're a country surrounded by water and have always been happy sea folk? Coco or no Coco, we've had our fair share of stripes in history as well! Being an aspiring print-student, I cannot ignore the most favourite and popular (not just to the Danes) print of all times - and let's be honest, it suits everyone in one way or another! And then again, who doesn't like a bit of sailor-action anyway?

P.S. Thanks to Spanish high-street, who obviously love stripes as well!

P.P.S. Listen to this. I 've been listening to this non-stop since I found it yesterday!

I need to say one thing. Imissmytripod, Imissmytripod, Imissmytripod!
Now that that's out of my system, I picked up some jewellery at Beadhouse in Copenhagen today. Two rings and two pair of hoops. My new buys and my Fro'do, and I'm good for today. More photos and today's outfit will be up tomorrow!
